RESEARCH WITH KARYN PURVIS INSTITUTE OF CHILD DEVELOPMent
Leonie is currently working alongside the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development based at Texas Christian University. As a TBRI-trained practitioner and qualified and experienced midwife, Leonie has been contributing to the ongoing academic research into the harm reduction model of care.
The research is being carried out in conjunction with three ongoing pilot studies in Colombia with the aim that published findings will then influence a new international accredited benchmark for children living in residential care.
